Well… this blog is an outlet to some of my erratic thoughts, blatant rants, and deeply analyzed opinions…!!
By the way.. I am class XI student studying in FIITJEE Pinnacle, Delhi. Over here.. i intend to post many things… ranging from science to computers.. music to movies… my experiences in school and out to times spent with friends… along with anecdotes from a very strange yet interesting life here in India!!
Many people call me a Jimi Hendrix look alike and I love maintaining that Afro look of mine with my dense curly hair. But in reality, I am a South Indian with origins tracing from Karantaka as well as Andhra Pradesh. Hence , I speak both Kannada and Telugu. Living in Delhi.. I know Hindi as well.
I am currently in a rat race known as the IIT-JEE where almost every Indian student intending to pursue engineering is forced in. It is THE largest competition for anything! For this very reason, I have been put into an Integrated School Programme by FIITJEE. Some get into this mess at tender ages, some like my contemporaries, manage this mess alongside what the school makes already! I study amongst some of the brightest students of country looking at whom I am supposed to feel ashamed to persuasively work ahead… but well, I am no underdog either!
Technology, Quizzing, or anything that involves analytics, wit or wisdom attracts me and my inquisitive mind like a carcass attracts a wake of vultures. Birdwatching, primarily of the animal kind gets me hooked.
I am a proud owner of 3 PCs, and I love tweaking, messing and fooling around with them. You can call me a power user as none of my PCs have less than two Operating Systems. I primarily use Linux (Ubuntu 8.04.1) for my day to day work. Windows Vista for using bleeding edge software, and Windows XP for getting my games running just right. I am not too much of a gamer, but then I find having loads of games in my hard drive and DVD collections along with a few levels of every game in memory a big asset to maintain in the head.
I am a fair singer and have had multiple attempts in forming a band. But well, sudden switches in schools, distances, and a few other annoying factors never got my ideas taking off. Speaking of ideas, I dream a lot, and I dream big! Whenever I do, I tend to soar into the stratosphere falling from where it hurts as much as… well you get it right? And this these days is happening way more often that I want it to…
Whenever you visit this place… make sure you have read stuff from your cup of tea and have left behind a memento in the form of a comment. Feedback will be loved depending on the ratio between complements and criticism. Lively discussions on the comments page are even more welcome. I have no problem in turning this blog’s comment section into a discussion forum!

I am a 17 year old who has just barely escaped passed out from high school. I was born and have been brought in New Delhi although I am culturally a Maharashtrian and geographically a Goan.I have been graciously provided with space on this blog to express my opinion and thoughts.

I guess you could call me an idealist or a romantic who believes in a world with equal opportunities to all but at the same time I am not impractical enough to understand that its possible only in some alternate universe where everything is perfect. Drawing brain maps and trying to figure out how,what and why people think what they think is my favorite activity along with drawing parallelism, connecting the dots and trying to find an underlying order in the scheme of things.
Although I come from a pretty geeky family I am not as geeky as I’d like to be but yeah… I guess you can call me a technology enthusiast having grown up with computers starting from the Commodore 64.I am betrothed to my computer(s) and cannot survive without them for more than 41 hours.I also love making and breaking cryptic technology crosswords and although I have never really tried my hand at quizzing I think I wouldn’t be too bad at it if I did.
I can’t live without Books, Magazines, Journals, Newspapers, Blogs and any other interesting reading material (Print or otherwise) you can think of. I also love creative writing and would really love like to write a book someday (Although its highly unlikely that I’ll ever get past the first chapter).
I am a fairly good and experienced singer having been training in Indian Classical Music since the age of 7. I love listening to all kinds of good music (Apart from hip-hop, rap and Bollywood numbers (A.R Rehman is an exception)) from genres ranging from Classical fusion to Death metal (Although I can’t sing (or scream) any of that kind).
I also draw and sketch a lot and when I say a lot,I mean a LOT.Give me any writing material and I’ll start drawing on books, notebooks, magazines/newspapers, walls, furniture, people’s back…any surface that stands still long enough.Although I started serious, deliberate sketching (as opposed to doodling) only a while back. I aspire to be an an illustrator/artist,designer and/or a behind-the-scenes technician for movies (Editing,cinematography et al).
Two relatively new hobbies I’ve picked up are photography and cooking(exotic stuff) although I still can’t say much about them.
Apart from all this I think I’ll let my blog posts do the talking
