Where’s the party tonight..??

Make that, “Where’s the party today..?”, so that it doesn’t look like it has been ripped off from some song in a third-grade hindi movie..

Anyway, coming back to the topic, now that the boreds are done, we have a party everyday, at different places, with different themes, with different people.. :D
The longest month of my life has atlast come to an end, and so have the tons of burden on my meagre shoulders! It almost feels like open source has now completely replaced MS, and Google has brought Yahoo! That’s some feeling which I would express in my style, party!

As soon as the dumb MCQ of the science bored finished, we hurried off to Nirulas in Chanakya to have a sumptuous outside-house-meal which most of us weren’t allowed to have during the boreds in lieu of the precaution taken for not being sick..

The MCQ, was seriously tougher than what I actually thought it would be. This was a never before implemented addition to the Science bored as an effort to take it away from the ‘rot’ learning style of an applicative subject like science.. And I must say, it was applicative, thus indicating a rise in the standards of CBSE curriculum in the coming years. It was a 20 mark paper with 30 questions with 10 questions weighing 1 mark and 20 questions wieghing half a mark. And I am afraid to say that I lost one mark here. Unlike the theory paper, where you can cook up really vague and šhìttÿ answers in case you are not sure of the right answer, this was different. Its either right or wrong, unlike the conventional bored case, where vague answers are considered to be ‘partly’ correct..!! I wonder what CBSE has up its sleeves for us in Class 11th.. :(
Well, forget the dumb past, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and the present, or today is a gift. We guys made full use of this gift by playing cricket after nearly a huge gap of 3 months or more.. on that very same day..

So its all time to enjoy now in this week because after this, everyone is going to be busy in IIT coaching entrance tests.. and after which, the real labour starts. Anyway, please keep the blessings intact even though the boreds are long gone.. the real need for blessings would start next week, where every action done by us a span of every heartbeat would contribute to our careers, our futures..

Mom’s 42nd Birthday!

“Many Many Happy returns of the day, and greater returns in life Mom. Thanx a lot!”

Mom's Card..

Well, that quote and the card featured above were enough to melt Mom’s heart enough to take me out! On the 24th of March, we had a double party, one for the boreds to get over, the second to commemorate Mom’s 42 years of eventful life.. neat day i must say! Anyway, Mom, sorry to disclose your age like this.. :P
The card reads “Placemarking your 42nd year in making worlds of many a better place.”  for those who couldnt make it out under my flimsy handwriting. And also.. the timer in the camera has gone bad.. plus the gradient sort of a thing on the first word on the card isn’t photoshop magic, but my sketch pen gone dry.. Also, any sort of critisism against the card will NOT be tolerated..!! (just kidding) ;)

It’s ALL over..!!

Whoohoo… Boreds are done. So yesterday was a big HUGE milestone in my life. Boreds (almost) ended. Sorry readers, couldn’t blog about it as I was busy partying..

Science!

There was the very last paper, Science. Being a semi-geek, this is subject should theoretically be a piece of cake for me, but I don’t know for god’s sake why it wasn’t. Even after writing tons of mock tests, reading the same çráp multiple times, memory was giving way. For a moment it almost felt as if I was starting to show symptoms of Alzhemier’s Disease. Chemical equations from Organic Chemistry were as good at staying inside my head as a pizza is in staying on my plate!

But still, I was trying to cool myself down by showing myself question papers of the previous year bored exam. Those were just so easy that they actually promoted feelings of lethargy in me. In a loooong gap of 7 days, just 3 were productive from my view.

So on 24th, the paper was atlast unveiled and to my dismay it was perhaps the toughest science paper the C.B.S.E bored has ever set! Although that seriously doesn’t mean that I did bad, but in most cases the questions were from the topics that I knew, but in a vague manner. C.B.S.E introduced a really bad split system for science. In the 100 marks alloted for science, 20 are for practicals (school provided great assistance in scoring full in that!), 60 were for the exam that I just wrote, and the remaining 20 would be a Multiple Choice question (MCQ) game, so loads of Inki-Pinki-Ponkies would follow next.. A true estimation of my science score would be made only after the MCQ ends on 28th and my boreds finally come to a grinding halt..

And also, Its ALL (almost actually!) over for India in the world cup. The only chance for it to come back is by miraculously disguising as Bermudan player and defeat Bangladesh today. Anyway, not many recognise Bermudan players.. so they could have actually done that!

Men in blue back home?

Since they are dumb enough to not do that, the odds of them coming back to the world cup are as good as Microsoft turning towards open source..!! Numerically speaking, the probability is an Absolute Zero..!! Mr, Dravid, you better start packing up! :P
